During the VIP Paris Discovery Full Day + Picasso Museum tour, you will admire the outstanding monuments as the Opera Garnier, the Place Vendôme (a jewel of architecture from the 17thC), the Palais Royal, the Louvre, before following the Seine River to the Ile de La Cite where you will make your first stop to have a guided visit of the splendid Cathedral Notre Dame.

Then, you will discover from outside the Sainte Chapelle, the Conciergerie (former seat of the Royal power), the Hotel de Ville and the Ile St Louis where we will book a table for you in a very nice, typical French restaurant or brasserie (not included in the price).

After this culinary break, your personal guide will take you to one of the most famous areas of Paris: the Marais district. You will stop for a walking tour before enjoying a private guided visit of the Picasso Museum where you will discover a rich collection of Picasso’s works. For its quality and scope as well as the range of art forms it encompasses, this collection is the only one in the world to present both Picasso’s complete painted, sculpted, engraved and illustrated œuvre and a precise record—through sketches, studies, drafts, notebooks, etchings in various stages, photographs, illustrated books, films and documents—of the artist’s creative process. This outstanding collection has conferred a critical international role for the Picasso Museum in presenting Picasso’s work and furthering research into his life and work and modern art in general.

The rich history of the artist’s painted works is retraced through nearly 300 paintings held in the Musée Picasso Paris collection today a superb selection of 250 sculptures, ceramics and other objects that had been harboured in Picasso’s various studios for many years.

Due to the fact that the Picasso Museum is allowing only an hour and 15 minutes maximum of private visit, your private guide will accommodate the visit according to your wishes.

After the discovery of the Picasso Museum, your personal guide will cross the Seine River to continue your journey on the Left Bank (the « Old Paris »), with the Latin Quarter (student quarter), the Sorbonne (university), the Pantheon (rest place of the great men of France), the Luxembourg Gardens, the Church St Sulpice, the Saint Germain district (home of many jazz musicians, writers and painters since the roaring twenties), where you will make a break in a French “patisserie” enjoying one of their delicious pastries

After this relaxing break, you will continue your ride along the French Institutethe Orsay Museum, the Concorde Square(the largest square in Europe where the French Revolution took the life of the King and the Queen), the Champs Elysées(most famous avenue in the world), the Arc de Triomphe, the Grand Palais, the Invalides, the Eiffel Tower where you will make a stop for photos before driving to Montmartre , the village of the artists (Picasso, Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh…) and the highest place in Paris (with an incredible view) where your personal your guide will take you for a walking tour to discover its unique scenery, the famous place du Tertre with its cafés and shops and the eternal white Sacre Coeur Basilica before driving you back again to your hotel.
