VIP Tours will give you full satisfaction taking you on this unforgettable journey of 10 hours in Champagne that will introduce you to the delicious taste of champagne through the visit of the beautiful cities of the region and Reims with the impressive cathedral.

Your personal, licensed driver-guide who is a specialist of Champagne region will pick you up at your hotel in a luxurious Mercedes minivan or car and will tailor your tour to your specific wishes and needs.

During the VIP Day in Champagne, on the way (1 hour and 30 minutes of driving), your personal driver-guide will give you an introduction to the history of Champagne. Arriving in Reims, you will enjoy a private guided visit of the Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral, a 13^thC Gothic masterpiece with an exceptionally rich statuary, a remarkable luminosity and a profusion of stain-glass windows (including the 3 exceptional stain-glass windows created by Marc Chagall). Then, you will make a break in a French “patisserie” enjoying one of their delicious.

After this remarkable visit, it is time for the first tasting of the day in one of the renowned Champagne houses of Reims. You will have the choice to visit one of the following Champagne cellars: Pommery, Veuve Cliquot, Mumm or Martel (also depending of the day of the week). During over an hour, an expert of the house will explain you the details of the method of Champagne making from the grape picking to the bottling.

It is time now for lunch that we will book for you in a very nice, typical French restaurant or brasserie (not included in the price).

After this culinary break, you will follow the “Route du Champagne” through picturesque villages such as Chatillon sur Marne or Hautvillers the home-village of Dom Pérignon where you will have a look at the local church (with Dom Pérignon’s tomb).

Then, your personal driver-guide will take you to Epernay, the de facto capital of Champagne. There, you will enjoy a private visit of a small producer of Champagne. That will allow you to discover the « local » Champagne and to taste a high quality of Champagne. This tasting will be a highlight of the day.

Then, your private guide will drive you back to your hotel in Paris.
